Galaxy S7 flagship duo rumored to be already under testing at AT&T

According to the usually reliable leakster @evleaks, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is already being tested in the US. Specifically, he said that two variants of the handset (SM-G930A and SM-G935A) - which should be the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge - are under testing at AT&T.
The revelation adds weight to a recent rumor suggesting the flagship device(s) would be announced on February 21 2016 - just a day before next year's Mobile World Congress.
As for the specs, there's not much known at the moment, although there have been rumors that the device would sport a magnesium build, feature a USB Type-C port, and will come with3D Touch-like features. A recent report also suggested that half of the Galaxy S7 units would be powered by the South Korean company's next generation Exynos 8890 chipset, while the other half would feature Snapdragon 820.

Live images of the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 successors leaked

Samsung's Galaxy A-series are due for an update, the earlier ones now approaching the ripe old age of 12 months. There have been indications that the next-gen mid-range models with a premium build are in the works, and things have gotten to a point where we're now being treated to a few live photos of the successors to the Galaxy A5 and A7.
The two smartphones have been brought up to check on current upmarket Samsung design, featuring a flat glass rear panel, a lot like the Galaxy S6 generation. Unlike the truly premium handsets, however, the future Galaxy A5 (2016) and A7 (2016) will have nothing but a single-LED flash next to the prominent camera hump. Obviously a heart-rate sensor is out of the question in this segment, but the news is that Samsung has relocated the loudspeaker, likely to the bottom of the devices.

Alleged live photos of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and A7 (2016)
The front sees fewer changes, especially on the smaller A5 model. Apart from the rearrangement of the sensors around the earpiece, the most notable difference is the taller home button, hinting at a fingerprint sensor, which has already made its way to the A-series with the A8 and yet-to-be-released A9. The images appear to show a 2.5D front glass on the face of the Galaxy A7 (2016), but not on the A5 (2016), an odd discrepancy with an older leak.
If the naming is any indication, we'd expect the two models to be released no earlier than January next year - bang on time for the A7 to meet its one-year update deadline, and a couple of months late as far as the A5 is concerned.

Marshmallow to be reaching LG G3 users in mid December

The LG G3 will start getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update towards the mid of the next month - between December 16 and 18.

This was revealed by a new report out of Poland, saying that the update is already in the last stage of testing (or is even ready, according to an LG Poland executive, whose tweet was referenced by the report).
The report also notes that just like the LG G4, the Marshmallow update for the G3 will also be first rolled out in Poland, followed by other regions worldwide.  source

Samsung Q3 Profits To Remain Weak

Samsung's Q3 2015 profits are expected to remain below market expectations, according to analysts from South Korea, who are putting the blame on the unimpressive performance of the company's mobile unit.

While the unit reported a Q1 and Q2 profit of 2.74 trillion won ($2.34 billion) and 2.76 trillion won ($2.36 billion), respectively, the Q3 profit is expected to remain below 2 trillion won.

Although the South Korean company's mobile shipments have increased in Q3, the drop in profit is being attributed to the slowing demand of Samsung's high-end smartphones, where, of course, the margins are comparatively higher.

Overall, the company's Q3 operating profit is expected to be around 6.61 trillion won, down 6.4% from the 7.06 trillion won figure estimated back in July this year.

One Lucky AT&T Customer Gits It's IPhone 6s Delivered Early

Apple's new flagship phone Iphone 6s and Iphone 6s plus as we all know will become available this Friday, on September 25, but that apparently hasn't stopped the company and its carrier partners from sending out pre-ordered units early.

One lucky AT&T customer in the US was happy to receive her rose gold iPhone 6s today. She shared a few pictures of the phone and its box to prove that what she's saying was infact true.

The front-facing flash are now official for the the Galaxy J7 and J5

The Galaxy J7 and J5 - which have been part of various leaks over the past few weeks - have been officially announced by Samsung in China, where they will go on sale this week.

Specs-wise, the J7 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, and sports a 5.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels. On the other hand, the J5 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, and sports a 5-inch 720p display.

They measure 152.2 x 79.1 x 7.9mm and 142 x 73 x 8.5mm, and pack in a 3000 mAh and 2600 mAh battery, respectively.

The rest of the specs are identical: 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage space, and 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras. In addition, they offer LTE and dual SIM capabilities, run Android 5.1 Lollipop, and come in black, white, and gold colour options.

It's worth mentioning that these are the South Korean company's first smartphones that come with front-facing LED flash. As for the price, while the J7 carries a price tag of 1,798 CNY ($290), the J5 will set you back 1,398 CNY ($225). It isn't yet clear if and when the handsets will be available outside of China.

New rumors suggests BlackBerry first Android phone might surface in August

A few days ago, there were rumours that the Blackberry's first Android-powered smartphone - codenamed Venice - might arrive in November. However, a new report is suggesting that the Venice might not run Android at all.

As per the report, the Canadian company's debut Android phone will instead be called Prague. Aimed at emerging markets, it will be a low-end, all-touch device, with form factor similar to that of the BlackBerry Z3 (shown in the image above). The handset is expected to be released in August this year, the report notes.

Needless to say, none of this has been officially confirmed by the company, so take it with a pinch of salt.

The most anticipated Galaxy A8 passes TENAA certification

The Samsung Galaxy A8 has been a hot topic lately, with rumors popping out every now and then, and it went as far as appearing in a set of live images. Well, if that isn't enough of a testament to its imminent launch, then it's recent visit to TENAA should clear all doubt.

The Chinese telecommunications governing body has certified a device, bearing a model number SM-A8000, which we know by now is the upcoming Galaxy A8. The pictures show a phone, identical to the one in the previous hands-on photos.

Samsung Galaxy A8 at TENAA

The TENAA listing confirms that the Samsung Galaxy A8 will come with a 5.7-inch AMOLED display of FullHD resolution, which a benchmark entry once wrongfully claimed was going to be 5.5 inches in diagonal.

Though the regulator doesn't explicitly name the chipset, the octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and the smartphone's position in the lineup point to a Snapdragon 615 with it's performance cores clocked slightly below Qualcomm's specified maximum of 1.7GHz. There's 2GB of RAM on board, as well as 16GB of internal storage, and the phone can take microSD cards up to 128GB in capacity.

The listing is somewhat ambiguous in stating an 8MP primary camera and putting 16MP in parentheses, but we'd put our money on the higher count, as even the Galaxy A7 has a 13MP main shooter, and a downgrade would be illogical. The new phone comes with a 5MP front camera too.

Number crunchers will be thrilled to know that the Galaxy A8 measures 158 × 76.77 × 5.94 mm, which makes it Samsung's thinnest smartphone. Though it may be a bit on the long end of the 5.7-inch spectrum (the Galaxy Note 4 is 4.5mm shorter), the new phablet is impressively light at only 142g. We don't yet have confirmation on the rumored 3,050mAh battery capacity, but kudos to the engineers if they pulled it off in such a thin and light body.

The LTE-capable smartphone boots Android 5.1 when it launches. It's yet to be revealed when that will happen, but sooner sounds more likely than later.

Android and iOS together account for 96.3% of smartphone market

Android and iOS combined accounted for a whopping 96.3% of all smartphone shipments worldwide in 2014, up from 93.8% in the prior year, according to a latest report from the market research firm IDC.
Individually, Google's mobile operating system captured 81.5% of the market, up from 78.7% in 2013, while Apple's mobile OS claimed 14.8%, down slightly from 15.1% the year prior.
"Many of the same drivers were in play for Android and iOS to tighten their grip on the market," said Ramon Llamas, Research Manager with IDC's Mobile Phone team. "A combination of strong end-user demand, refreshed product portfolios, and the availability of low-cost devices – particularly for Android – drove volumes higher."
As for the rest of the players in the market, Microsoft's Windows Phone had the smallest year-over-year increase among the leading operating systems, growing just 4.2%, while BlackBerry saw its year-on-year growth decline by 69.8%.

Apple to pay $533 million for infringing Smartflash's patents

A US court has ordered Apple to pay $532.9 million in damages after the company was found guilty of infringing three patents owned by Texas-based patent licensing company Smartflash. The patents are related to digital rights management (DRM), data storage, and payment systems.
Smartflash sued Apple alleging that the latter’s iTunes software used these patents without permission, something which the Cupertino-based company rejected by claiming that the patents were invalid.
The patent licensing company also said the iPhone maker intentionally did so given that its executives were already given a briefing on the technology, something which happened more than ten years ago. While Smartflash was seeking damages of $852 million, the iPhone maker said the patents were only worth $4.5 million.
“Smartflash makes no products, has no employees, creates no jobs, has no U.S. presence, and is exploiting our patent system to seek royalties for technology Apple invented,” said an Apple spokesperson. The company is now planning to appeal the decision.

SEE:Alleged live photos of Samsung Galaxy S6 leak out

Purported live photos of Samsung Galaxy S6 made the rounds on the web. The Korean giant’s next flagship smartphone is scheduled to make its debut this Sunday, on March 1 alongside an Edge modelwith curved display.
The photos reveal Samsung’s new design language for the upcoming Galaxy S5 successor. The newcomer appears to sport metal frame with front and back covered by glass. Overall, the device looks like a massive step forward for the company in terms of design and tactility.
If the images are to be believed, Samsung Galaxy S6 will offer non-removable back cover. Its camera will be protruding, with the heart rate sensor sitting on its right side.
The SIM card slot of the smartphone is located on its right side, below the power/lock key. Its 3.5mm audio jack has been moved to the bottom this time around - there is nothing but an IR blaster, microphone pinhole, and antenna strips on top.
We will be covering the launch of Samsung Galaxy S6 launch live. Be sure to tune in to find out everything about the smartphone.

Update: BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 Has been Rolled Out

BlackBerry has announced that the rollout of its latest OS release has commenced. BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 is in the process of making it to seven of the company's devices, namely the Q5, Q10, Z10,Z30, Z3, Porsche Design P'9983, as well as the Passport. The BlackBerry Classic isn't on that list because it already ships with BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 preinstalled.
So now this iteration of the OS is finally on its way to the rest of the Canadian company's recent portfolio of mobile devices.
The update brings with it quite a few new things, as well as the usual bug fixes and enhancements. The Amazon Appstore now comes preinstalled, alongside the BlackBerry World. Amazon's storefront has so far been confined to the Passport, but from now on it will be found on all BlackBerry 10 devices.

Motorola responds to criticism says Apple charges outrageous prices

The criticism from Apple’s chief designer Jony Ive towards Motorola’s Moto Maker in a recent New Yorker magazine profile, saying “that’s abdicating your responsibility as a designer,” prompted a high-level response from the Lenovo subsidiary. Rick Osterloh, the CEO of Motorola has hit back at the Cupertino-based company, describing iPhone prices as “outrageous.”
“We do see a real dichotomy in this marketplace, where you’ve got people like Apple making so much money and charging such outrageous prices. We think that’s not the future,” Motorola president Rick Osterloh said. “We believe the future is in offering similar experiences and great consumer choice at accessible prices.”
Explaining that Motorola follows a “different philosophy” than Apple, he said, “our belief is that the end user should be directly involved in the process of designing products.” Introduced with the first generation Moto X, the Moto Maker tool allows users to change the color and style of their smartphone to their exact liking.

Introducing The New Galaxy E5 And E7

Samsung has introduced yet another devices into their pool of collections that is the Galaxy E5 and E7. It dropped the prices about six weeks from the launch of the two phones in India.

The Galaxy E5 was launched at Rs. 19,300 ($310) but now costs Rs. 17,900 ($288). Meanwhile, the Galaxy E7 price has gone from Rs. 23,000 ($370) to Rs. 20,900 ($336).
The Galaxy E5 and E7 are Samsung's new mid-range dual SIM devices. Although reasonably priced compared to Samsung's older phones, the pricing was still on the higher side compared to the stiff competition from the Chinese vendors in an increasingly competitive market. Samsung has clearly been listening to feedback on the pricing and the price cut is a step in the right direction. Also, it must be noted these are official prices, so the actual prices in stores will likely be a bit lower.

Material Deseign Elements Added By Facebook To its Andriod App

After quite a few months since Google first unveiled its Material Design guidelines, Facebook has decided to follow them somewhat. The world’s biggest social network is now testing a slightly enhanced look for its Android app, one that has been infused with a few Material Design elements.
As you can see, a big blue floating action button is present. Once you tap that a few options show up, which were previously available to you through a floating blue bar at the bottom of the screen. This bundled the “Take a photo” and “Upload a photo” items together, while “Where I am” used to be known as “Check in”. The old “Status” option from the floating bar is now replaced with “Write a post”.
The About screen tells us that this is version 28 of the app. You probably have 27 now, but even if you are on 28 you may not see the new UI. Facebook routinely tests many small improvements such as these, and sometimes they appear to some users and not to others – because, more often than not, such things are switched on at the server level. Still, if you participate in Facebook’s beta testing program for Android, you may have a few more chances of getting lucky and seeing this new design. However, that doesn’t mean it will ever be rolled out to all Facebook for Android installs out there.
And if Facebook really wants to adhere to Material Design guidelines, it shouldn’t forget to enable the tinting of the Android status bar in Lollipop.

New Galaxy S6 Video promises Faster Performance

The second video posted  in the #TheNextGalaxy series is out and it's as vague as ever, but what is interestine is that it seems to promise fast performance ("The faster I am, the more that gets done") and long battery life ("And the more time I can give to others"). For me we will be happy because that is what most users nowadays wants most in thier smartphones.
The previous  S6 teaser video focused on the camera and changed the profile pic of the Samsung Mobile account to the outline of a camera module. This new video brings a different sigil – a lightning bolt. You could argue this is "lightning fast" and connect it to the chipset performance – Samsung's own Exynos 7420 according to rumors. Another way to read this is wireless charging, we've heard talk that the Galaxy S6 will have only a 2,600mAh batteryand use wireless charging to offset the small-ish capacity.
The new flagship will be officially unveiled at the beginning of March at the MWC in Barcelona, but that's not for two more weeks. We should see several other teaser videos until then.

Lg Nexus 5 Running Andriod 5.1

Android 5.1 got an odd half official introduction a couple of weeks ago, when Google let slip that some new Android One handsets were running this version from day one. Today the software giant took its low-cost phone initiative to the Philippines, and sure enough the devices launched there run Android 5.1 too.

HTC DESIRE 626 SOON TO BE IN U.S

When HTC launched the Desire 626 in Taiwan earlier this week, there was no word on whether the device would be available in other countries. But now, it looks like the mid-range smartphone is heading to the US at least.
According to popular leakster @upleaks, the Desire 626 would be launched in the US as a prepaid smartphone by Sprint, which is the third-largest cellphone carrier in the country behind Verizon and AT&T.
For those who are not in the know, the device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and sports a 5" 720p display. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable via microSD card. The device sports a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front snapper, and packs in a 2,000mAh non-removable battery.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 receiving Lollipop OTA in Europe

Samsung's last generation phablet flagship finally received the much anticipated Lollipop treatment it was promised. And before the comment section goes up in flames about the on-going soak test in Russia the new ROM is intended for the most wide-spread Snapdragon 800-based version of the device (N9005) and not the Exynos one.
The Galaxy Note 3 was supposed to be first in line for Android 5.0 after the current generation Galaxy S5 and Note 4, but interestingly enough it was overtook by the Galaxy S4 LTE-A (I9506).

It seems that with recent developments around Samsung and their own in-house Exynos SoC taking center stage in future devices instead of Qualcomm chips the Korean tech giant is naturally focusing on their own architecture and pushing updates along much faster on Exynos devices. This might just be a marketing trick but it is still a fact that Samsung seems to be taking care of that limited line of devices first and then moving on to Snapdragon.
Regardless is seems the long wait is finally over for Note 3 users as the package is already available on major carriers in the UK, Austria, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Hungary and a few other countries. You can keep a close eye on the OTA seeding progress here.
So if you are on a Snapdragon Note 3 be sure to check for that update package regularly as the Lollipop goodness is here.

$15.7 million to pay by Samsung for infringing Bluetooth patents

Patent woes for Samsung again as the company is ordered to pay $15.7 million in the latest dispute. The company has been found guilty on infringing the patents of company Rembrandt Wireless Technologies LP by the Harrison County federal jury.
The two patents that Samsung has been found guilty on infringing relate to Bluetooth technology. More specifically the patent duo relates to a "system and method of communication using at least two modulation methods." The Korean company has been making, selling, using and offering for sale Bluetooth EDR (enhanced data rate) devices and the aforementioned technology is in the core of them.
Just a week ago, Samsung settled its legal arguments with Microsoft over royalties. Still, the $15,7 million are nothing next to the $1.05 billion that Samsung paid Apple in 2012.

Xiaomi to open online store for the US, but won't sell phones

At its mysterious event in San Francisco today, Xiaomi has announced that it plans to open its own online store in the US in a few months.
However, the caveat of the century follows. See, Xiaomi will not be selling smartphones or tablets through that storefront. So the most craved items it makes will still be off limits to US-based customers, at least in an official manner.
Instead, Xiaomi will offer its increasing range of accessories, such as headphones (pictured above),fitness bands, power banks, and more. The US isn't the only 'western' market targeted by the company - it will bring is online store to other countries too.
One of the reasons why phones and tablets won't be made available for US customers is that apparently Xiaomi finds that localization of its MIUI ROM (which is reportedly being used on 100 million devices already) is very difficult.
There are also (unnamed) issues with hardware certification, software testing, infrastructure, as well as other logistical challenges, all of which conspire to keep Mi handsets and tablets out of the hands of American consumers, for now at least. And it doesn't help that it's a market in which people are used to buying their mobile devices from carriers, and not directly from the manufacturer's online store.
Xiaomi hopes that if it launches simpler products first, they'll help build brand awareness before it makes any bigger steps in the US. However, as of now a phone launch is not on the roadmap at all.

HTC One (M9) leaks show us what the handset may end up looking like when its done

We’ve been hit by a ton of leaks about HTC’s next flagship smartphone lately, but so far official-looking press renders have not surfaced. Fret not, though, for that doesn’t mean we have nothing to look at. On the contrary. Thankfully someone decided to take all the recent leaks and rumors about the One (M9)and use that information to create some very nice looking renders of what could end up being the successor to the One (M8) from last year.
These aren’t official, nor are they leaked. They’re just exploring what the phone might look like, based on what we’ve heard about it so far (and what we’ve seen).
The images depict a very good looking handset, so much so that we actually wouldn’t mind at all if the finished product will be similar to what’s in these renders. The bigger camera module is there on the back, and it may be that big in order to be able to house a 20MP sensor.
The Duo Camera is gone, but overall the new device’s back won’t be a big departure from its predecessor’s. Things change on the front, though, with a huge front-facing camera module reminiscent of the Taiwanese company’s Desire Eye. The BoomSound stereo speakers have been redesigned, now boasting a much more elegant look – somewhat resembling the ones on the Nexus 9 tablet.
The HTC One (M9), codenamed Hima, is due to be announced in early March, so in just a few weeks we’ll find out how close these renders were to the real thing.

Wondering Who take over your facebook when you die:Facebook has now Added a Legacy Contact

Facebook has added a new feature today, and it’s already rolling out to accounts in the US. Basically, you can now add a “legacy contact” in the Security section of your account. This will be the digital ‘heir’ to your Facebook presence after you die.
Once someone lets Facebook know that you’ve passed away, the company will ‘memorialize’ the account and starting at this point the legacy contact will be able to do certain things with it.
Namely, the person you designate as the heir to your Facebook presence will be able to change the profile picture and cover photo for your account, as well as respond to friend requests from family members and friends who weren’t previously connected to you on the service. The legacy contact can also write a special post that will be displayed at the top of the memorialized Timeline – to announce a memorial service, for example.
You can choose to let your legacy contact download an archive of your photos, posts, and profile information. All of your settings will remain as they were while you were alive, however, and this person won’t be able to log in as you or see your private messages. If you don’t want all of this to happen once you’re gone, then you can let Facebook know that you’d prefer to have your account permanently deleted after your death.
Up until now the company offered a basic memorialized account for people who passed away. This was viewable but couldn’t be managed by anyone, so today’s measures make things more flexib

Starting March 31 the Lg G flex 2 will be available in Netherlands

The LG G Flex 2, which was unveiled at this year’s CES, and launched in South Korea late last month, is heading for its first European market. News has surfaced that LG's latest flagship will be available in Netherlands starting March 31.
This is only the second international market the device is entering following Singapore, where the G Flex 2 will be up for preorder on February 28. The curvy handset is slowly branching outside its native Korean market and even if you have to wait a while to pick it up at a local retailer, Amazon Germany already offers you to book your unit.

The phone will cost €699 for the 16GB model, which is around the €650 it is currently listed for online. No information is known yet about pricing and availability of the 32GB model. This is still significantly lower than the original LG G Flex, which cost some €850 when it first came out.
The G Flex 2 is the company’s first mobile device to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset, which has received some bad press lately, especially after there were reports that Samsung ditched it in favor of its own processors for its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S6. However, LG has clarified that it has had no issues with the SoC, and has termed its performance as "quite satisfactory".
Other specifications of the device include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 2.1 MP front-facing camera, and 13 MP rear camera. There are 3GB of RAM in the international version of the device, while the Korean one is limited to only two. The smartphone also packs in a 3,000 mAh battery.

Technical Preview for Windows 10 Now Available for phones

As stated last week, the very first release of Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones is now out. You can download and install it on one of just six smartphones that are currently supported.
Microsoft promises more handsets will be added to subsequent Preview builds in the future, but for now you can only proceed if you own a Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 636, Lumia 638, Lumia 730, or Lumia 830.
The software giant also notes that this is a "very early" preview, which means many things may break or not work right from the start. Bugs are to be expected, and there's a very long list of known issues at the Source link.

Galaxy S6 Leaked Images and it Looks Cute

The amount of Samsung Galaxy S6 details that has made its way to the public ahead of launch has reached critical mass for designers to be able to create a pretty accurate vision of what the upcoming flagship will look like. The leaked schematics left little to the imagination and it actually took too long for people to dress them in proper attire.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen the work of Martin Hajek applied in the field of mobile devices and now we are treated to his take on the Galaxy S6.
The new camera/sensor arrangement on the back has been the most undisputed feature of the new Samsung flagship, confirmed by every leaked case out there. Whether the glass back will actually make it to production remains to be seen, but if it ends up looking anything like these images, arguments against it will be few.
The outer frame may be a bit too reminiscent of the current iPhone for hardcore Samsung fans. I does feature the characteristic bulges at the corners and finely trimmed sides, introduced with the Galaxy Alpha and carried to its disciples. It’s just that the rounded edges of the frame towards the front and back are simply not the Samsung of late we all know. But it may be just what the Galaxy S6 needs to distance itself from the past and mark the new path the Korean company is taking with its flagship.

Blackberry passport price gets cut ahead of valentines day

BlackBerry gave its flagship smartphone a price cut for Valentine’s Day. The squarish BlackBerry Passport is available with $100 off in the United States and $125 off in Canada.
The discount is available directly in the Canadian manufacturer’s official online store. It will run through Monday, February 16. All three colors of the handset are available - black, white, and red.
BlackBerry’s promo pricing means that you can pick up a Passport for as low as $499 in the United States (in black or white). The more eye-catching red color goes for $599.

Galaxy Note 4 gets Lollipop Updates

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 4 in South Korea.
The update is currently available only for the Exynos variant of the Note 4 on the SK Telecom network, but it should be available on other carriers shortly.

The update can be downloaded right now from Samsung Kies desktop application, with the OTA download arriving later.
The Note 4 Lollipop update started rolling out yesterday, with Poland being the first country to get it. It should be rolling out in other regions shortly.

Samsung will be launching its grand 3 in india

Following various numerous leaks,Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy Grand 3 smartphone in India. The phone appeared later last year in TENAA and little before that went through benchmark testing.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 is teased as “The grandest ever” and is expected to go on sale via Snapdeal. However, a specific time frame for the launch isn’t given at this stage.
Samsung has upgraded this big monster mid-ranger all around. The 5.25” display boasts 720p resolution and under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 410 chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.2GHz, 1.5GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. The phone will ship with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.
The Galaxy Grand 3 still retains its 5MP selfie camera of the Grand Prime but upgrades the main camera to 13MP stills. Both cameras can record 1080p video. There is 12GB user-available storage, with 4GB going to Android and TouchWiz. Unsurprisingly, Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Its measures are 146 x 74.8 x 7.95 mm, while its weight tips the scale at 140 grams.

Galaxy Note 11 Receiving Android Lollipop 5.0 Update

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note II will also get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, although its date  hasn't been officially been confirmed yet.
The announcement was made by Samsung Poland via a tweet. It is worth noting that the South Korean company usually updates it flagship devices for around 1.5 years, but the Note II seems to be an exception as it has been more than two years since the device was launched.
